Le projet RAPHÈL

Résumé : Raphèl est un hypertexte poétique dont la forme même requiert un développement maximal du lien hypertextuel. La forme élémentaire de Raphèl est une strophe cyclique de dix vers (lignes), cette hyperstrophe pouvant s’auto-reproduire indéfiniment à partir de ses dix liens linéaires et ses dix liens interlinéaires. Raphèl est également un centon multilingue (un collage de citations en langues diverses), qui se construit comme le commentaire sans fin d’une phrase tirée de la Divine Comédie, phrase asémantique attribuée par Dante à Nemrod, le constructeur de la Tour de Babel. De nombreux hypertextes en prose et vers donnent des traductions du centon et ajoutent des notes et des commentaires sur des points particuliers.

Abstract: Raphèl is a poetic hypertext, which implies a maximal development of the hypertextual link. Raphel‘s elementary form is an auto-reproducing cyclical strophe of ten verses (lines). This hyperstrophe is capable of “ infinite ” and ordered developments through its ten linear and its ten interlinear links. Raphèl is also a multilingual cento (assembly of quotations in many languages). The whole poem is a gloss or commentary of a Divine Comedy’s verse in forged language, a non semantic sentence that Dante puts in the mouth of Nemrod, the Babel Tower’s builder. Prose and verse hypertexts give translations of this cento and add notes and comments to special points.
